Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Chelsea
Date Played – May 1967

The 1967 FA Cup final was decided in the first ever all London final. It was also the first Southern Final since Old Carthusians defeated the Old Etonians in the 1881 final. In 1881, the final was attended by 4,000 spectators at the Kennington Oval, however in 1967 the final was watched by over a staggering 100,000 people at Wembley Stadium and millions of people tuned in to watch Tottenham defeat the Blues by two goals to one. It was a match that Ron Harris broke the record of becoming the youngest ever player to captain a team in the FA cup final. He was 22 years old and 198 days as he led his Chelsea side out against Spurs.
